Holiday Weekend

This was the first Thanksgiving that I had to cook the WHOLE thing (well almost the whole thing Felix was in charge of the Turkey).  Wednesday, Scarlett and I made daddy his requested cheesecake and mamma's favorite Ribbon Jello - it's a toss up of which one Scarlett liked better.  Thanksgiving was very relaxing, we woke up late Felix made Eggs and Potatoes, than we just hung out for a few hours!  Around 1:30ish we started getting dinner ready.  Felix decided to Fry the turkey (AMAZING by the way) and Scarlett and I made all the side dishes, Mashed Potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, broccoli and cheese, and rolls.  Just the Thanksgiving basics but it was Yummy yummy as S says.

Felix had a four day weekend (I wish he had one every week!) So we did a few things around the house - this MAMMA is NESTING!   We also picked out our Christmas tree, I never thought that I would like having a real tree but I actually LOVE it! It was freezing the day we went, which I guess is fitting since we were picking out a Christmas tree.  We went to this Tree Farm just down the street from us, where you cut down your own tree, which was a lot more fun than just going to one of those tree lots.  Here are a few pictures of S wondering around a tree farm.
