Christmas 2014

I know I have been MIA on this blog,  but I was enjoying the holiday season with my little family!!!  Our Christmas was very low key - Christmas Eve we hung out all day at our house until it was time to go to the candle light service at Church.  I LOVE candle light services, our church back home would do them every year and its my favorite - so you could imagine the joy I felt when I heard our new Church home also did Christmas Eve candle light services!!!  I found this adorable gold glitter tulle at Michaels and knew right away that Scarlett would be rocking a Gold Glitter Tutu for her Christmas Eve outfit!  She is obsessed with Tutu's lately, and most days she has one on over her outfit.

After Service we came back home to enjoy Felix's homemade tamales and open our Christmas Eve present - Christmas Pajamas and a Movie.

Once Scarlett was in bed we got her presents under the tree and her stocking filled.  "Santa" got her a little kids table that a certain daddy elf put together and a Mamma elf painted White and Gold.  Than I had to wait ALL night for her to wake up!  The Table was a HUGE hit- she sits at it everyday and "Culas"

It took her all day to open her presents ha ha, she really didn't have that many but she would open one and want to play with it right away!  Christmas day was laid back, we made breakfast, homemade cinnamon rolls, egg casserole, and sausage (YUM).  For Christmas dinner I made a Ham, Scalloped potatoes and honey roasted carrots.  Overall our holiday was amazing, we missed our family (and our traditional Mexican food feast, with a yummy margarita)  but I couldn't have asked for a better day!
